ASSOFOND – MADE GREEN IN ITALY

With ASSOFOND, the Italian Foundry Association, we developed the Product Category Rules (PCRs) valid under the Made Green in Italy scheme for iron castings and steel castings.
Made Green in Italy is the voluntary national scheme for the assessment and communication of the environmental footprint of products managed by the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security.
The objective of the scheme is to valorize products with good/excellent environmental performance on the national market, in combination with the “Made in Italy value (linked to the excellence of the national production system) so as to encourage more conscious choices by market operators.
